The Santos in its medium size, the watch Louis Cartier made for Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1904 so he could read the time while flying. The square steel case has rounded corners and the exposed bezel screws that have defined the design ever since, and at 8.83 mm it sits flat under a cuff. The silvered opaline dial carries printed Roman numerals, a railroad minute track and blued steel sword hands. The seven-sided crown is set with a faceted blue spinel. The watch comes with both the steel bracelet, adjustable by hand through the SmartLink system, and a calfskin strap — either swaps onto the case without tools.

Listed on 13 September 2026. Sourced through our German dealer network and inspected on arrival in Skopje: movement opened, serial cross-checked against the manufacturer’s records, case measured against factory tolerances, and the timing logged over 24 hours in six positions. Nothing leaves the bench until it passes.
