Who these terms are between
This site is operated by DARIÉ & CO. DOOEL, Bul. Partizanski Odredi 15, 1000 Skopje, North Macedonia, VAT MK4080023600000. "We", "us" and "the house" mean that company; "you" means anyone using this site.
Using the site means accepting these terms. Where a page sets out something more specific — shipping, returns, payment, privacy — that page applies to its subject and these terms cover the rest.
Using this site
You may browse, search and enquire freely. An account is needed only to place an order, to list a watch or to open a service request, and you are responsible for what happens under yours: keep the password to yourself and tell us at once if you think somebody else has it.
What you may not do is take the catalogue. Scraping listings, harvesting prices, copying photographs or renderings, probing the site for weaknesses, or using it to offer anything that is not yours to offer — any of these ends the account and, where it is warranted, goes further.
Every listing is prepared with care, but a description can carry a mistake. Where a piece is listed at a price or specification that is plainly wrong, we may decline the order and refund anything paid rather than be held to it. You are told the same working day.
The contract
An order placed on this site is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when DARIÉ & CO. DOOEL confirms the order in writing and issues an invoice. Because every piece is a single example, an order may be declined if the watch has been sold in the meantime — in that case nothing is charged and you are told the same working day.
Prices and taxes
All prices are in euro and include VAT under the EU margin scheme for second-hand goods, which means VAT is not separately stated and is not reclaimable by business buyers. Where a piece is available with a full VAT invoice, that is stated on the product page.
For deliveries into the Balkans, import duty and local VAT are settled by us at dispatch. No further payment is due on delivery.
Payment
We accept SEPA bank transfer and major credit cards up to €25,000. The piece is reserved in your name from the moment the order is confirmed and ships once funds have cleared.
Condition and description
Every listing states condition, scope of delivery and any known flaw. Renderings on this site are generated from the reference specification; photographs of the individual piece, including case-back and serial, are supplied on request before purchase and always accompany the invoice.
Our guarantee, and the maison’s warranty
DARIÉ & CO. does not issue a warranty of its own. What we guarantee, in writing and without a time limit, is that the piece is authentic and as described in its listing; a watch found to be otherwise is taken back in full at our expense.
Any mechanical warranty on a watch is the manufacturer’s, runs from that manufacturer’s own first sale, and is subject to their terms rather than ours. We state the remaining period, or its absence, before you buy. Your statutory rights under the applicable consumer law are unaffected by anything in this section.
Cancellation and returns
We do not offer a voluntary return period. A piece is sold after inspection, with photographs of the individual watch supplied on request beforehand, and we would rather answer every question before the sale than after it.
Where the applicable consumer law gives you a right to withdraw from a distance purchase, that right stands and nothing here limits it. Tell us and we will honour it. A watch returned under it must come back complete and in the condition it was sent.
Listing a watch with us
The house does not buy pieces off the street. What we offer is a place to list yours: it is photographed, described and presented alongside the rest of the case, and it stays yours until it sells.
Listing one means telling us the truth about it. That it is yours to sell, that it is not stolen, not the subject of a dispute or a finance agreement, and that what you have told us about its service history, papers and condition is accurate as far as you know. A piece that turns out otherwise is withdrawn and returned to you at your cost, and where money has changed hands it is recovered.
Every piece is examined before it goes up, and the house may decline to list one without giving a reason. Fees, terms and how long a listing runs are agreed in writing with you before it appears — nothing on this page sets them.
Service and repair
Work on a watch begins only against a written estimate you have approved. Where the bench finds something the estimate did not cover, the work stops and you are asked again before it continues.
A piece left with us is insured while it is in our care. Watches are held for collection for the period stated on your service record; if one is not collected and we cannot reach you, we will write to you before doing anything further.
What we are responsible for
We are responsible for supplying a watch that matches its description and for the warranty set out above, and nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else the law does not permit to be limited.
Beyond that, our liability for any one purchase is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for a loss of profit, of resale value, or of an opportunity to buy something else — a watch is bought to be worn, and its future price is nobody’s to promise.
Trademarks and content
DARIÉ & CO. is an independent dealer of pre-owned timepieces. We are not an authorised dealer of, affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of the manufacturers whose watches we sell. Brand names, model names and reference numbers appear here solely to describe the goods offered and remain the property of their owners.
The text, renderings, photography and the DARIÉ mark on this site are ours. Reuse without written permission is not permitted.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the house does. The version that applies to your order is the one published when the order was confirmed, and that version is attached to your invoice — a later edit cannot reach backwards into a sale already made. The date this page was last revised is shown at the top of it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia. The competent courts are those of Skopje. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
Reaching a person
Anything on this page can be asked about directly: contact@dariewatches.co. A complaint is answered by somebody who can settle it, not by a form.
