The short version
This site sets no advertising cookies. What it stores is what a shop needs to be a shop: a signed-in session, a basket, and a record of the choice you made when the notice appeared. If you switch on Measurement, Google Analytics also sets its own cookies to count visits; if you do not, it never loads.
Because none of that is used to follow you anywhere, there is very little for the notice to ask about. It asks anyway, and keeps the answer, so that if measurement is ever added it is added with permission already on file rather than switched on quietly.
What is actually stored
A session cookie when you sign in, which keeps you signed in and is cleared when you sign out. A second one for the back office, which only staff ever receive.
Your basket and your selection are kept in the browser’s own storage rather than in a cookie. They never leave your device until you place an order, and clearing your browsing data clears them.
The cookie named darie_consent holds your answer to the notice and the date you gave it. It contains nothing else and identifies nobody.
The delivery region you pick on your first visit is kept in the browser’s storage as darie.region.v1, so the question is not asked again. It holds only the region’s name; the suggestion shown beside it is worked out from your device’s time zone, on your device, and nothing is looked up or sent. Delivering to … at the foot of any page changes it.
While you check out, what you have typed is kept in this tab’s session storage as darie.checkout.draft, so a reload does not empty the form. It is deleted when the order is placed, and closing the tab deletes it too.
Changing your mind
Cookie settings at the foot of any page reopens the notice, and whatever you choose there replaces your previous answer. Clearing cookies in your browser has the same effect: the notice asks again on your next visit.
