Cosmograph Daytona

The Daytona in solid 18 ct yellow gold, case and bracelet both, from the generation that introduced Rolex's own chronograph movement. The champagne dial with three contrasting black counters is the configuration collectors call the Paul Newman, after the layout on the vintage references the name originally belonged to. The tachymeter scale is engraved directly into the gold bezel rather than set into a ceramic insert — the detail that separates this generation from the 116500 that followed. Inside is the calibre 4130, with a column wheel, vertical clutch and roughly 72 hours of reserve.

Listed on 19 September 2026. Sourced through our German dealer network and inspected on arrival in Skopje: movement opened, serial cross-checked against the manufacturer’s records, case measured against factory tolerances, and the timing logged over 24 hours in six positions. Nothing leaves the bench until it passes.
